Wearing hats or caps while outdoors can help limit exposure as well when spending time outdoors.

e. Avoid Harsh Products: Discourage using harsh soaps or products containing alcohol, as they can strip the skin of its natural oils and cause dryness.

f. Develop a Shaving Routine: Teach proper shaving techniques, including using a sharp razor, applying a shaving cream or gel, and moisturizing afterward to prevent razor burn and ingrown hairs.

LOS ANGELES – Celebrity beauty and skincare expert and co-founder of Single Moms Planet, Cole Patterson, makes her directorial debut this holiday season with the film “Holiday Hideaway,” premiering on BET+ this month. The film stars Vivica A. Fox, Camille Winbush, Novi Brown, Rodney Van Johnson and Leonard Earl Howze.
Making the transition from the beauty industry, Patterson, is expanding her talents to her first passion, television, and filmmaking. As a female director, Cole Patterson has made it a personal mission to stand for women’s empowerment. Patterson hopes to play an intricate role in diversifying the film and television industry for women and minorities by continuing to pave the way with confidence and a fresh eye for the younger generation.
“I’m so thrilled to make my directorial debut with “Holiday Hideaway,” she said. “Making this pivot at this stage in my life has been both rewarding and purposeful. Working with talent and examining various roles behind the scenes has shown me the value of having flexibility when it comes to directing and has prepared me for this new path and opportunity.”

The film tells the story of Carly, who is the queen of holiday celebrations, but her mistletoe misstep sends her running to a Holiday Hideaway that teaches her the importance of family, forgiveness and fighting for love. The film was written by Sharon Brathwaite and produced by Freeze Frame Entertainment.

Patterson, a talented makeup artist, groomer, skincare specialist and entrepreneur, is widely known as a beauty industry veteran who has worked extensively with some of the biggest names in music, television, film and sports. Her client list has included Sheryl Lee Ralph, Yara Shahidi, Cassandra Freeman, The Rock, Gabriel Iglesias and Larenz Tate, among many others. She is most notably known as Usher’s longtime groomer and skincare specialist for over 20 years, recently traveling with him to Ghana for his acclaimed headlining performance at the Global Citizen festival.

As an entrepreneur, Cole Patterson launched a successful skincare and grooming line formulated for black men, Cole Skincare For Men, which is sold online.
