The 34-year-old, who gave birth to her first child just nine months ago, captivated social media users around the globe when she was seen tenderly cradling her tummy on stage at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, as the Philadelphia Eagles took on the Kansas City Chiefs.

Shortly after her spectacular display of strength and artistry, a spokesperson for the artist confirmed her pregnancy news. In her quest to take on this enormous task, the musician said motherhood had been a source of newfound courage and confidence.

“When you become a mom, something just happens, and you feel like you can take on the world, you can do anything,” Rihanna stated during a press conference in Phoenix on Thursday.

Two years after Rihanna graced the television stage, she joined DJ Khaled in singing Wild Thoughts at the Grammy Awards.  She didn’t require the extra theatricals for her long-awaited show to succeed.

With her unyielding strength, breathtaking performance, and now an unexpected pregnancy, Rihanna continues to reign as a revolutionary figure in music, fashion, family, friendship, business and motherhood.

The beginning of a new year is an excellent time to get organized, particularly for working mothers. Here are some starting points:

1. Create a list of your top priorities. What are your New Year’s resolutions? What steps must you take to achieve your objectives? Make a list of everything so you can refer to it throughout the year. 

2.  Make a system that suits you. Find a way to keep track of a schedule that works for you, whether a paper
calendar or a digital one. If you have children, include them in the process, so everyone stays on the same page. 

3.  Set aside time for planning and preparation. This is essential for staying on top of things. It will make a difference
if you devote even 30 minutes weekly to planning and prepping for the coming week.

4.  Be adaptable. Things will come up that you did not plan for throughout the year. Don’t worry; simply roll with the
punches and adjust your strategy.

5.  Request assistance. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, seek help from your friends and family that understand the
power of organization and staying on task. We all require assistance from time to time, so don’t be afraid to ask for
it.

Getting organized does not have to be complicated. You can make it a breeze by taking it one step at a time and involving your family in the process. Here’s to a more organized you in the coming year!

“One of the things I say is ‘Remove the word lonely from your lingo… Life is not a lonely place. We’ve made that word a negative,” she said during the interview. “Anytime someone thinks of being alone, we think of it as linked to mental illness or depression. But no. It’s a power space when you can sit alone and you can be in in your kingdom or queendom and you can say ‘I can stand on my own two feet and I feel good about who I am.’”

Plessy also spoke about her efforts to inspire single moms and others through her organization and her public speaking where she aims to empower them to be successful in business and in their personal relationships.

She also spoke about her start in modeling at age 14 and how she became involved with Playboy, ultimately becoming a Playmate of the Month.

“I was 17 years old and a friend of mine came to me and said ‘You should become a Playmate,’ and I asked ‘why would I become a Playmate? Why would I do that?’ so there was this newspaper clipping that said they were looking for their millennium playmates,” she recalled. “But you had to be 18… the day that I went, was a day after I turned 18 years old to audition to become their Millennial Playmate the consisted of 12 Playmates from all over the world and I ended up becoming Miss July.”

She also spoke about her work on film and television as well as establishing Single Moms Planet while raising her children as a co-parenting mom. She also shared her vision on entrepreneurship in addition to creating Elevated Strategist, her marketing company where she worked with Fortune 500 companies.
